Hire a crew
Mining labour hire,
out of Mackay.
Trade qualified, ticketed and site inducted personnel for shutdowns, breakdowns and ongoing maintenance. Mining, quarry, port, civil and agricultural operations. D.A.C Mining Services has done this since 2004.

The last number is the one that matters. One office in Mackay and one crew list means the people who roster a job are the people who have met the person going to it. D.A.C Mining Services has been owned by the same two people since 2004, so that has not changed and it is not going to. A national outfit running off a desk in another state cannot say either of those things.
how we help
How it runs
how we work
Tell us the scope
The trades, the numbers, the site and how soon you need them.
We tell you what we can place
Plainly, and early enough to be useful. The numbers, the trades and the date we can have them through the gate.
Ticketed and inducted first
Standard 11, medicals, site inductions and portal registrations completed before mobilisation, not on the morning.
Worked, then demobilised
Supervision on the floor through the window, progress reported, and a controlled demobilisation on completion.
If we put a crew on it, it is the right crew.
Ticketed, inducted and known to us before they go to site.
Before you can put us on site
Licensed, insured, prequalified.
The things a vendor gate asks for, in one place, so nobody has to ring and ask.

The questions we get asked.
What trades does D.A.C Mining Services supply?
Diesel fitters, boilermakers, auto electricians, high voltage electricians, service persons, trades assistants, maintenance planners and supervisors, and plant operators where the scope calls for them.
Are you licensed for labour hire in Queensland?
Yes. Queensland labour hire licence LHL-00886-W8N4K, current to 19 June 2027. ABN 67 111 324 371. Twenty million public and products liability, plus contract works, workers compensation and comprehensive motor.
Which prequalification portals are you already on?
Pegasus, Avetta, LAAMP, Damstra and GWOS, registered and maintained, so a vendor gate is not the thing that delays a mobilisation.
How quickly can you put a crew on site?
It depends on the trade, the site and what inductions the site requires. Tell us the scope and the window and we will tell you plainly what we can place on it and by when.
Do you supply for shutdowns as well as ongoing maintenance?
Both. Crews are assembled, ticketed and inducted ahead of the window, supervised through it and demobilised cleanly on completion.
What sectors do you work in?
Mining, quarry, port, civil and agricultural. The machinery is much the same and the tickets are much the same. It is a different gate.
What happens if you cannot fill a shift?
You hear it from us early, while there is still time to do something about it.
Where are you based and where do you work?
One office in Mackay, Queensland, and one crew list. Crews go out to Australian mining, quarry, port, civil and agricultural operations from there.

Better every swing.
