Started by a husband and wife in 2004 and still owned by the same two people. D.A.C Mining Services supplies skilled labour and machinery maintenance across the Australian mining, quarry, port, civil and agricultural sectors, out of Mackay.
Who started it
Drew and Lisa. Husband and wife, from day one.
D.A.C Mining Services was started in 2004 by Drew and Lisa Callander, and it is still owned by Drew and Lisa Callander. Drew was a diesel fitter. Lisa ran the office. Twenty-two years on they still own it.
D.A.C Mining Services is one of the original family owned mining labour hire businesses still privately owned.
That is why the rest of this page reads the way it does. When the people who own the business are the people you ring, a promise costs them something.
